Man Sentenced to 10–20 Years in Prison in Connection With Fatal Tyrone Township Crash

Tyrone Township, Michigan

With solemn reflection and heavy hearts, the Tyrone Township community continues to remember and mourn the life lost in a tragic crash that occurred more than three years ago—an event whose impact is still deeply felt by family, friends, and all touched by the loss. Following recent court proceedings, a man has been sentenced to 10 to 20 years in prison after being found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in connection with the fatal collision that claimed the life of a 46-year-old woman from Fenton.

The crash occurred in September 2022 on Denton Hill Road, when a Chevy Silverado driven by Robert Albert collided with an eastbound Camaro as it attempted to turn north from Denton Creek Drive. The woman driving the Camaro was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in her vehicle sustained serious injuries, altering another life forever in the same tragic moment.

While the legal process has now reached a conclusion, no sentence can undo the heartbreak endured by the victim’s loved ones. She was more than a name in a court case—she was a daughter, family member, friend, and a woman whose life held meaning, purpose, and love. Her sudden passing left an irreplaceable void and a grief that time cannot erase.

Those who knew her remember a life interrupted far too soon—one filled with relationships, routines, and future moments that were never given the chance to unfold. The pain of her loss has lingered through the years, resurfacing with each development in the case, and reminding all involved that behind every legal outcome is a family forever changed.

As the community reflects on this tragedy, there is both sorrow and remembrance. Sorrow for a life taken in an instant, and remembrance for the person she was—the love she gave, the connections she made, and the memories that continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

May this beloved woman rest in eternal peace. May her family find continued strength as they carry her memory forward, and may her life always be honored for the person she was—not for the tragedy that ended it.

Forever remembered. Forever missed. 🕊️
