Police Continue Search for Murder Suspect Latrell Creighton in Chesterfield County Homicide of Omarion Bryant ; Jalen Johnson and Cordarious Berry Also Changed in ongoing Investigations

 

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — The Chesterfield County Police Department is continuing its active search for 19-year-old Latrell Creighton, who remains at large after being charged with second-degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Omarion Bryant of Dinwiddie. The deadly incident occurred on October 4, 2025, in the 20900 block of Third Avenue in Chesterfield County, leaving the community shaken and authorities determined to bring all those responsible to justice.

According to investigators, officers were called to the scene that evening after reports of gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, police discovered Bryant suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts by emergency responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.   • Cordarious Berry, 39, of Hopewell, who is identified as Creighton’s father, has been charged with multiple felony offenses, including obstruction of justice and aiding a fugitive. Authorities allege that Berry played a key role in assisting his son after the homicide occurred.

He is described as 19 years old, with ties to Chesterfield County, Hopewell, and Prince George County.
