According to the Stark County Coroner’s Office, Alliance police were called at approximately 9:08 a.m. to a report of an unresponsive person inside a tent located off Rush Street, behind PTC Metals. Responding officers arrived and confirmed that Justin had passed away. The circumstances surrounding his death remain under investigation, but the grief felt throughout the community is already deeply real and profoundly shared.
Justin was a member of this community, known or unknown, seen or unseen — yet no less important. Though he was experiencing homelessness, he was first and foremost a human being: a son, a friend, a soul with a story, memories, and hopes that mattered.
