Forever 44, Forever Remembered
With heavy hearts and profound sadness, the Troupsburg community mourns the tragic loss of Jason P. Reisman, whose life was taken far too soon following a devastating rollover crash on Thursday morning, January 1. Jason’s sudden passing has left family, friends, and neighbors grappling with an unimaginable loss at the very start of a new year.
According to the New York State Police, the crash occurred just before 7:00 a.m. on Grinnold Road in Troupsburg and involved a plow truck that left the roadway for reasons that remain under investigation. When troopers arrived on scene, the truck was found resting on its passenger side off the south shoulder of the road. Jason was removed from the vehicle and transported to St. James Hospital, where he was heartbreakingly declared deceased while en route.
Beyond the tragic details of that morning, Jason will be remembered for the life he lived and the person he was to so many. At 44 years old, he was a man rooted in his community—someone whose presence was familiar, dependable, and valued. Whether through his work, his friendships, or quiet everyday moments, Jason touched lives in ways that will not be forgotten.
To his family, Jason was deeply loved—a cherished son, family member, and source of strength.
