According to the Enterprise Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Gibson Street shortly after midnight following reports of shots fired. When they arrived, they discovered Ja’kevis Sweet suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts by first responders and paramedics, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
